Kinetic Yanker

Synthetic Winch Rope

AmSteel Blueis the latest development of HMPE fiber in a 12-strand braided rope utilizing Parallay design with proprietary blue urethane UV coating.

U.S. Made Amsteel Green synthetic fiber rope has a higher breaking strength than that of steel cable of the same diameter, and remarkably weighs less than 1/6. It won't get all wound-up like cable when unspooled. It can't develop sharp frays, and it doesn't conduct electricity or heat (won't freeze your hands in winter). It won't rust, doesn't kink, doesn't recoil, doesn't stretch, and doesn't store energy. Heavy-duty rope thimble.

Note: Our ropes are professionally spliced and crimped. Extra-large terminal end, with rope taped prior to being crimped into the terminal. We strongly recommend upgrading to a billet aluminum Hawse fairlead to prevent pinching or other damage from a steel roller fairlead. See aluminum fairlead selections above. Note: As with cable, we recommend keeping a minimum of 8 wraps of synthetic line on the winch drum at all times.

Backing Plates

XD Recovery Bridle

Whenever possible it's always a good idea to pull from both recovery points on the front (or rear) of the stuck vehicle. Do this with our 10' long double-ply recovery bridle. Then attach your 20', 25' or 30' recovery strap from the bridle to your truck with suitably-rated D-ring shackles. This ensures an equal pull from both recovery points, eliminating the possibility of diamonding your truck's frame on an extreme pull.

Recovery Chain

As well as for vehicle recovery, the recovery chain is used to drag fallen trees and logs off 4WD trails. It is plated to prevent rust, and comes with chain hooks (2). The chain is particularly useful for securing a winch anchor point in rocky areas where a nylon tree strap is not suitable.
