1984 Land Rover 110 300TDI
- Rutland Red |
|
| This truck is a single cab 110 Defender in
Left Hand Drive, with a very low mileage (53,000) 300TDI and R380 gearbox.
The Defender donor truck was used by the local sailing club and salt water
took its toll on the chassis. Note: this is not a Disco 300TDI conversion.
The truck has a new clutch and release bearing and new timing belt kit fitted.
It has the TD5 dash with updated wiring and spade fuses, new black vinyl
seats and cubby box and the 300 TDi seat box. It has a new 'Richards' galvanised
chassis and perfect bulkhead. It has a 2" lift, heavy duty springs
and caster corrected front and rear trailing arms. It will also be getting
black modular rims and new tires, a Defender winch bumper and galvanised
rock sliders have now been fitted along with a new set of hoops and canvas
top. |

RovahFarm Special #002 |
|
| 1983 Land
Rover 110 V8 |
|
| This truck has had a complete
refurbishment. Hundreds of hours have been spent to make this a truck
to be proud of!! A new Marsland galvanised chassis had been fitted and
is LHD. A new Defender tow bracket is attached. The bulkhead has had all
rusted steel cut out and replaced and then primed and painted (I know
i was there and assisted). The engine remains as it was - a nice 3.5 twin
carb V8. The gearbox had all new bearings. The axles have been cleaned
and had two coats of Hammerite applied. The front calipers are new as
are the springs, spring turrets and shocks. The rear gas tank is a recent
tin/nickel tank from SPI. A new LHD steering box has been added. The interior
will be left as is as already in great shape with Trakkers 'High Back'
seats in place with the signature techno black cloth.New Rims, new tires.
The front doors are new and the middle and rear doors have been repaired
with new steel channels. The list of new parts on this truck would amaze
you.
$30,000 OBO (You can't make one here in the US for less!!!)
